Homemade Bath and Body Recipes
KONA COFFEE HAND & BODY LOTION Ingredients to make 16 ounces of lotion.
16 ozs. unscented body lotion base 2 ozs. coffee fragrance oil 1 oz vanilla fragrance oil drops brown and orange liquid soap colorant 4 - 4 oz. disc top bottles Labels
Gently mix body lotion base with 2:1 ratio of coffee and vanilla fragrance oils. Start with a lesser amount of fragrance and built to suit your scent needs. Add a few drops of brown and orange soap colorant to achieve tan shade.
Kona coffee is a fantastic sensory feast for both men and women - you won't be able to make it fast enough.

All Natural Lipstick
Recipe makes approximately 4 ozs. ~ all ingredients are weighed
Phase I 2.8 ozs Castor Oil .08 ozs Iron Oxide/Mica Powder/D&C color (a combination to obtain the desired shade of lipstick) .36 ozs Mica White (for a pastel shimmer lipstick) otherwise add this additional amount of another pigment.
Phase II .5 ozs Beeswax Pearls .32 ozs Carnauba Wax .06 ozs Vitamin E Oil .16 ozs Lanolin
Phase III drops of Grapefruit Seed Extract drops of any all natural flavor oil (we used Cranberry)
Put the ingredients from Phase I into a small pan over very low heat. Be sure to pulverize the iron oxide, mica powder, D&C color and/ or Lip Tints before adding them to the pot. Stir well. Add the ingredients from Phase II and heat until the mixture reaches 170° or until fully melted. Remove from heat then add the ingredients from Phase III and pour into lipstick tubes or lip pots.
This lipstick has a fantastic feel similar to lip balm, and the color will show on your lips. It has great staying power and doesn't feel heavy or greasy.

Massage Balm
This massage balm is similar to those selling for $36 by L'Occitane. It is wonderful for full body massage and stress areas such as the neck and shoulders. It is not as strong as a Tiger Balm.
Makes approx. 10 ozs. Ingredients:
5 ozs. Ultra Shea Butter 2-3 ozs. Beeswax Pearls (for consistency) 1 Tblsp. Coconut Oil 1/2 Tblsp. Vegetable Oil (sesame or any light oil) 1/2 Tblsp. Menthol Crystals (melted) 1 tsp. Glycerin liquid Drops of the following essential oils: Eucalyptus 20 drops, Camphor 10 drops, Pine 10 drops. 1 Container
Over low heat melt the shea butter and beeswax. Melt the menthol crystals in the microwave or over low heat in another pan. Add the remaining ingredients, the menthol crystals and essential oils, stirring until incorporated. Pour into tin or plastic container and let cool completely. The balm may look oily for the first day, but will dry further by the next day.

Bath Melt T's
1/2 cup cocoa butter 1/8 teaspoon vitamin E oil 1 tablespoon coconut oil 23-25 drops of your favorite essential oil 2 oz Bars Mold Powder pigment or liquid pigment color, food coloring will work, but it is hard to incorporate.
Melt the cocoa butter over very low heat and add the coconut oil. Remove and add the remaining ingredients. Stir well and add to your mold. Let harden and remove from mold. Place in the freezer to quicken the hardening. Keep in a cool place or the refrigerator. Snap off sections and pop them in your tub for a soothing smoothing luxury bath.
